REMAINS OF CASTLE UNCOVERED IN EGYPT

(Fox News) – An Egyptian archaeological mission has unearthed the ancient remnants of a 2,600-year-old military castle, meaning it dates back nearly
three millennia.

Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities said in a Facebook post, “The castle was
found in the North Sinai province”.
The government agency said that they
were able to find the North-East Corner Tower and the remains of the South-
East Corner Tower, as well as the extension of the south wall. The castle
was dated to the Psamtik era, which ran from 664 to 610 B.C.
