Bo Derek, born Mary Cathleen Collins, began her career as a
model before making her film debut in the 1977 film "Orca".

Bo will be celebrating her 67th birthday on November 20th.

The 1883 eruption of Krakatoa in the Sunda Strait occurred
from 20 May until 21 October 1883, peaking in the late
morning hours of 27 August when over 70% of the island
of Krakatoa and its surrounding archipelago were destroyed
as it collapsed into a caldera.

The eruption was one of the deadliest and most destructive
volcanic events in recorded history.

NASCAR star Kurt Busch announced his retirement on
Saturday. He stepped away from racing after he suffered
a concussion in a crash at Pocono in July 2022.

He announced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway he would
step away from full-time racing last fall.

Robert William Barker (December 12, 1923 – August 26, 2023)

Bob Barker, longtime game show host for "The Price is
Right" has died. He also hosted Truth or Consequences
from 1956 to 1975. He was 99.
