Northern Ireland.  He has received accolades, including
nominations for Academy and two Tony Awards,three 
Golden Globe Awards. In 2020, he was placed seventh
on The Irish Times list of Ireland’s 50 Greatest Film
Actors. He turned 72 Friday.

Erich Anderson, the familiar character actor who made his film
debut in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, played Keri Russell’s
father on Felicity and recurred on shows from Steven Bochco,
has died.

His wife, Saxon Trainor, and her brother-in-law, Michael O’Malley, announced in an Instagram post, Anderson died Saturday after a
"brutal struggle with cancer."

"Man with No Name" in Sergio Leone‘s Dollars
Trilogy of spaghetti Westerns during the mid- 
1960s and as inspector Harry Callahan in the
five Dirty Harry  films throughout the 1970s
and1980s. 

These roles, among others, have made Eastwood
a cultural icon of masculinity. Elected in 1986,
Eastwood served for two years as the mayor of
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.

in films which were produced during Hollywood’s Golden Age,
especially in Western and war movies. His career flourished
from the silent era of the 1920s through the American New
Wave, as he appeared in a total of 179 film and television
productions.

In 1999, the American Film Institute selected Wayne as one of
the greatest male stars of classic American cinema.           

Wayne was born in Winterset, Iowa, but grew up in Southern
California.
