Chuck Connors (1921-1992) and Johnny Crawford (1946-2021)

The Rifleman aired on ABC from September 30, 1958, to
April 8, 1963, as a production of
Four Star Television. It
was one of the first
primetime series on US television to
show a single parent raising a child.

The series starred Chuck Connors as rancher Lucas
McCain and
Johnny Crawford as his son Mark McCain.

The Rifleman was partially filmed in Wildwood Regional
Park
in Thousand Oaks, California.

known for
his nine collaborations with filmmaker Martin Scorsese,       
and is the recipient of various accolades, including two Academy      
Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and      
a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.       

In 2009, De Niro received the Kennedy Center Honor, and he also

from President Barack

SINGER OLIVIA NEWTON—JOHN HAS DIED

Olivia Newton-John (26 September 1948 – 8 August 2022)

Olivia Newton-John, beloved actress and singer best known for
her role as Sandy Olsson in Grease and for hits such as 1981’s “Physical,” died on Monday (Aug. 8) at her ranch in California. She
was 73 years old.

It was announced in May of 2017 that Newton-John’s breast
cancer from past years had returned and metastasized to her lower
back. Her back pains had initially been misdiagnosed.
She was 
experiencing a
great deal of pain from the metastatic bone lesions
and had openly
spusing cannabis oil to ease her pain. Her daughter Chloe owns a cannabis farm in Oregon.

Roger Earl Mosley 
(December 18, 1938 – August 7, 2022)

Mosley was an American actor, director, and writer
best known for his role as the helicopter pilot
Theodore "T.C." Calvin in the
CBS television
series Magnum, P.I., which originally aired from
1980 until 1988.

Mosley reportedly died at Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center in Los Angeles, California, following injuries
sustained from a car collision on August 4.
