WESTERN TV/FILM ACTOR IS DEAD AT 93

Clu Gulager (William Martin Gulager)
(November 16, 1928 – August 5, 2022)
 

Gulager first became known for his work in television, appearing
in the co-starring role of William H. Bonney (
Billy the Kid) in the
1960–1962
NBC television series The Tall Man and as Emmett
Ryker in another NBC
Western series, The Virginian.

His first major film role was in Don Siegel‘s The Killers (1964)
with
Lee Marvin and Ronald Reagan in his only movie role as
a villain.

Gulager died Friday of natural causes at the Los Angeles home
of his son John and daughter-in-law Diane.

Neighborhood Playhouse

served as the 38th governor of California between 2003 and 2011.

As of 2022, he is the most recent Republican governor of California.

Time magazine named Schwarzenegger one of the 100 most
influential people in the world in 2004 and 2007.

DEATH OF ACTOR TONY DOW CONFIRMED

Tony Lee Dow (April 13, 1945 – July 27, 2022)

Actor Tony Dow, best known for his role as Wally Cleaver on the
classic sitcom Leave It to Beaver, died on Wednesday at the age
of 77.

Dow was still in hospice care Tuesday when his death from
cancer was
prematurely announced
