Wonder suffered from retinopathy of prematurity, which caused his
retinas to detach, making blind. He signed with Motown Records
when he was eleven years old and released the hit song “Fingertips
(Pt. 2)" when he was thirteen. His album, “Songs in the Key of Life”,
was ranked at 56 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the top 500
albums of all time.

Eric Patrick Clapton is 71 today.
Clapton got the nickname Slow hand because he played the
guitar with such ferocity that his strings would break and as
he replaced them onstage, the audience would slowly clap
their hands.

Sara Jane Moore turned 85 in February.
Moore was released from prison on December 31, 2007,
after serving 32 years.
When asked about her crime in an interview, Moore
stated, "I am very glad I did not succeed. I know now
that I was wrong to try.”
