SANDY KOZEL

The Dionne quintuplets were born on this day in 1934 near
Callender, Ontario, to Olivia and Elzire Dionne. The babies
were the first quintuplets to survive infancy.

Ian Lancaster Fleming (May 28, 1908 – August 12, 1964)

Ian Fleming was an English author, journalist and naval intelligence officer
who is best known for his James Bond series of spy novels.

Patrick David) (June 23, 1894 – May 28, 1972) 

National League club owners voted on this day in 1957 to allow the Brooklyn
Dodgers to move to Los Angeles and that the New York Giants could move
to San Francisco.
 

Willie Howard Mays, Jr. was born in Westfield, Alabama.

Willie Mays is a Hall of Fame outfielder and 24-time All-Star known as the "Say
Hey Kid." He hit 660 home runs for the New York and San Francisco Giants
and the New York Mets and was a 2-time National League MVP as well as a
World Series Champion with the Giants in 1954.

Joseph Paul "Joe" DiMaggio (November 25, 1914 – March 8, 1999)

Joe DiMaggio made his major-league debut on this day in 1936.

DiMaggio is perhaps best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15 –
July 16, 1941), a record that still stands.

James Joseph Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006)

Known as The Godfather of Soul,singer James Brown gained fame for his
anthem "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and Rolling Stone magazine ranked him
seventh on their list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.He lived with his
aunt who was a madam at a brothel and, after being released from prison
for robbery, he became a gospel singer.
