NEW YORK (AP) — Gallagher, the long-haired, smash-’em-up
comedian who left a trail of laughter, anger and shattered
watermelons over a decadeslong career, has died.
Craig Marquardo, in a statement identifying himself as
Gallagher’s “longtime former manager,” said that he died
Friday at his home in Palm Springs, California, after a brief
illness. Gallagher had numerous heart attacks over the years,
including one right before a scheduled show in Texas in 2012.


Robbie Coltrane (Anthony Robert McMillan)
(30 March 1950 – 14 October 2022),
Robbie Coltrane, the veteran comic and actor known for his role
in the British crime series Cracker and the Harry Potter movie
franchise, died Friday at Fort Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.
Coltrane had been in ill health for the past two years. He was 72. .

Stephen Glenn Martin an actor, comedian, writer, producer,
and musician. He has won five Grammy Awards, a Primetime
Emmy Award, and was awarded an Honorary Academy Award
at the Academy’s 5th Annual Governors Awards in 2013. He’s
77 today.
In 2004, Comedy Central ranked Martin at sixth place in a list
of the 100 greatest stand-up comics.
In 2009, Martin released his first all-music album, The Crow:
New Songs for the 5-String Banjo with appearances from
stars such as Dolly Parton.The album won the Grammy
Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2010.
