his own weekly NBC- TV show, The George Gobel Show. It ran from

Barney Miller was a situation comedy set in a New York City police
station in Greenwich Village. The series originally was broadcast
from January 23, 1975 to May 20, 1982 on ABC. It was created by
Danny Arnold and Theodore J. Flicker. Noam Pitlik directed a
majority of the episodes.

on the NBC comedy series Saturday Night Live, the series 30 Rock also
on NBC. Fey first broke into comedy as a featured player in the Chicago-
based improvisational group The Second City. She later joined Saturday
Night Live as a writer, becoming head writer and a performer, known for
her role as co-anchor in the Weekend Update segment (shown below).
