Twister is a game of physical skill produced by Hasbro Games. It was designed by Charles F. Foley and Neil Rabens in 1966, and became a success when Eva Gabor played it with Johnny Carson (above) on television’s Tonight Show on May 3, 1966.

A GREEN JACKET FOR THE ‘’GOLDEN BEAR’’

The 1963 Masters Tournament was held from April 4 to April 7 at Augusta National
Golf Club. It was the 27th Masters Tournament in which 84 golfers entered with 50
of them making the cut at eight over-par. It was here that Jack Nicklaus won his
first green jacket, defeating Tony Lema by one stroke. This was one of six
Masters victories for Nicklaus.
NUMBER-ONE ON THIS DAY IN 1971
"Just My Imagination" became the third song by The Temptations to
reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top of
chart for two weeks. It was the final Temptations song to feature
founding members Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams.

BASEBALL LEGEND BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1867
Denton True "Cy" Young (March 29, 1867 – November 4, 1955)
Major League Baseball pitcher Cy Young played with five different
teams during his 22-year career (1890-1911). He was elected to the
National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Young completed 511 wins,
and still holds the Major League records for most career innings
pitched at 7,355, most career games started, 815, and most
completed games, 749.
One year after Young’s death, the Cy Young Award was created
to honor the previous season’s best pitcher.The award is given
annually to honor the best pitchers in both the American League
and the National League teams
GAMBLING ONCE AGAIN ON THIS DAY IN 1931
Unregulated gambling had taken place in the early Nevada mining towns for some
time, but was outlawed in 1909 as part of a nation-wide anti-gambling crusade. Due
to the subsequent declines in mining output and the decline of the agricultural sector during the Great Depression, Nevada legalized gambling with the approval from the legislature and the signature of Governor Fred Balzar.
