National Vietnam War Veterans Day is a US holiday observed annually
on March 29th to recognize veterans who served in the U.S. military
during the Vietnam War. On March 28, 2017, President Trump signed
the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017.


IT MADE HISTORY ON THIS DAY
Reba Nell McEntire is 64 years young today.
Reba McEntire is a country singer and actress known as
‘The Queen of Country’. Some of her well-known songs
include How Blue and Somebody Should Leave. She is
one of the best-selling artists of all time.
She started her musical career performing with her family
singing group. While in college, she was hired to perform
the National Anthem at the National Rodeo in Oklahoma
City. It was during this performance that her talent was
spotted by country artist Red Steagall who helped her
sign a recording contract with Mercury Records.

IT MADE HISTORY ON THIS DAY
Quentin Jerome Tarantino is 56 years old today.
Director, producer, and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino first
received acclaim for his 1990s crime films Reservoir Dogs,
Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. He later went on to direct the
action films Kill Bill: Volume 1, Kill Bill: Volume 2, Inglourious
Basterds and Django Unchained. He dropped out of Narbonne
High School his freshman year to go to acting school.
