The comic strip Dick Tracy made its debut in the Detroit Mirror on
Sunday, October 4, 1931 as Plainclothes Tracy. It was created by
Chester Gould who wrote and drew the popular strip until 1977.

Paramount Pictures “Road to Bali” was released on November 1, 1952 and is
the sixth of the seven Road to …movies. It was the only such movie filmed in
Technicolor and was the first to feature surprise cameo appearances from
other well-known stars of the day.
