Hayley Mills (Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills)

Mills began her acting career at 12 years old, winning the BAFTA Award
for Most Promising Newcomer for Tiger Bay (1959), the Academy Juvenile
Award for Pollyanna (1960) and Golden Globe Award for New Star of the
Year – Actress in 1961.

During her early career, she appeared in several films for Walt Disney,
and is best known for her dual role as twins Susan and Sharon in Disney 
film The Parent Trap (1961).

The English born actress is the daughter of actor Sir John Mills and Mary
Hayley Bell.

Ruth Elizabeth "Bette" Davis (April 5, 1908 – October 6, 1989)

Davis is remembered by many for her role in All About Eve in 1950. Her
performance in the 1935 film, Of Human Bondage, earned her critical
acclaim. She founded her own production company, BD Productions,
and starred in its first film, A Stolen Life (1946).

      John Garfield (Jacob Julius Garfinkle) (March 4, 1913 – May 21, 1952)

Garfield earned Best Actor Oscar nominations for his roles in 1947’s Body and
Soul and 1938’s Four Daughters. His other notable films include Tortilla Flat in
1942 and The Sea Wolf in 1941. He also co-starred in the 1947 film, Gentleman’s Agreement, with Gregory Peck. He began his acting career performing on stage 
for the  American Laboratory Theater and Civic Repertory Theater. Long-term
heart problems led to his death at the age of 39.

 

Jean Harlow (Harlean Harlow Carpenter) 
  
          (March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937)  

                 

The platinum blonde actress was often paired with Clark Gable in films like
Dinner at Eight in 1933. She also appeared in Three Wise Girls (1931) and
The Beast of the City (1932). Jean died at the young age of 26 from kidney
failure.

The 1927 action film Wings was the only silent film to win the Academy
Award for Best Picture.
