George Walton Lucas, Jr. is 72 today.

Lucas began his collegiate career studying anthropology at Modesto
Junior College, then transferred to the University of Southern California
School of Cinematic Arts. He attempted to join the U.S. Air Force after
graduation but they wouldn’t accept him because of a number of
speeding tickets on his record, so instead he re-enrolled at USC as
a graduate student in film production.

Schallert appeared in many films and in such television series as

Candice Patricia Bergen was born in Beverly Hills, California.

Edgar Bergen‘s daughter Candice Bergen starred as CBS-TV’s Murphy Brown
(1988-1998). She was nominated for an Academy Award for her film portrayal
of Jessica in Starting Over (1979). She began her career by appearing on her
father’s radio shows and televised guest appearances.

Gary Cooper
(born Frank James Cooper in Helena, Montana)
(May 7, 1901 – May 13, 1961)

Gary Cooper received five Academy Award nominations for Best
Actor and won the award for his roles in High Noon (1952) and
Sergeant York (1941). He also played roles in Mr. Deeds Goes
to Town (1936) and The Pride of the Yankees 1942). Before
fame, he managed a ranch and worked for a newspaper as a
cartoonist in Montana.
