John Adam Belushi (January 24, 1949 – March 5, 1982)
Born in Chicago, Illinois.
Belushi was a comedian, actor and musician who was one
of seven Saturday Night Live cast members of the first
season on NBC.
During a preliminary hearing held in September 1985, two
Los Angeles pathologists testified that Belushi’s cause of
death was due to a drug overdose. He was 33.

Kevin Michael Costner, actor,singer and filmmaker, is 70 years
old today.
Born in Lynwood, California, Costner has received various
accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Golden
Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
Costner rose to prominence starring in such films as The
Untouchables (1987), Bull Durham (1988), Field of Dreams
(1989), JFK (1991), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991),
The Bodyguard (1992), and A Perfect World (1993).
Kevin Costner directed and starred in the western epic
Dances with Wolves (1990), for which he won two
Academy Awards: Best Picture and Best Director.

David Lynch, the director behind Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet,
Mulholland Drive, and other works, died January 15th. His
family confirmed the passing on his official Facebook page.
The post announcing his death didn’t list a cause, but
last August, Lynch revealed that he had been diagnosed
with emphysema “from my many years of smoking.”
