Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra (December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998)

Sinatra, known by the nicknames Ol’ Blue Eyes and The Chairman of
the Board, was a singer, actor, and filmmaker. He began his musical
career in the swing era as a young singer with band leaders Harry
James and Tommy Dorsey. Frank Sinatra is one of the best-selling
artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records around
the world.

Connie Francis

Connie Francis was born Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero in Newark,
New Jersey
. She was one of the highest charting female solo singers
in the 1950s and 1960s. Connie is known for her 1958 hit  “Who’s
Sorry Now?” which launched her into worldwide stardom when it
debuted on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand on January 1, 1958.

Francis is still active as a recording and performing artist. In 2010,
she appeared at the Las Vegas Hilton with Dionne Warwick, a show 
billed as "Eric Floyd’s Grand Divas of Stage"

Marilyn Monroe was the cover girl. The first issue (above) 
was undated, as Hefner was unsure there would be a second. The
initial magazine was produced in his Hyde park kitchen.

Mary Ann Mobley (February 17, 1939 – December 9, 2014)

Mary Ann Mobley, the first Miss Mississippi crowned Miss America, died
at her home in Beverly Hills, California Tuesday after a battle with breast
cancer. Mobley appeared opposite Elvis Presley in two 1965 films, “Girl
Happy” and “Harum Scarum”, and appeared on dozens of popular TV
series from the 1960s to the ’90s, including "Perry Mason," "The Love
Boat," "Love, American Style," and "Different Strokes".
