LOS ANGELES (AP) –  Elizabeth Pena, the versatile actress who
shifted between dramatic roles in such films as "Lone Star" and
comedic parts in TV shows like "Modern Family," has died.

Pena’s manager, Gina Rugolo, said Wednesday the Cuban-
American actress died Tuesday in Los Angeles of natural causes
after a brief illness. No other details were provided. She was a
founding member of the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors.

Linda Darnell (born Monetta Eloyse Darnell in Dallas, Texas)  

(October 16, 1923 – April 10, 1965)

Darnell was a leading lady in the 1940s who became known for her roles
in My Darling Clementine (1946) and The Mark of Zorro (1040). Her other
films include Forever Amber (1947) and Unfaithfully Yours (1948). She was
11 years old when she started work as a model, although she pretended to
be 16.

Helen Hayes MacArthur (October 10, 1900 – March 17, 1993)

Actress Helen Hayes has been acclaimed as The First Lady of American
Theatre whose career spanned almost 80 years. She became one of the
first people to win an EGOT, which is an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and
a Tony Award. She made her stage debut at Washington’s Belasco Theatre
as a singer at the age of five. Her first sound film was The Sin of Madelon
Claudet
(1931).
