Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is a science fiction television series based on the
1961 film of the same name. Both were created by Irwin Allen, which enabled the
movie’s sets, costumes, props, special effects models, and some footage from the
film to be used in the production of the television series. Voyage to the Bottom of
the Sea was the first of Irwin Allen’s four science fiction television series as well
as the longest running. The show was broadcast on ABC-TV from September 14,
1964 to March 31, 1968 and was the decade’s longest-running Sci-fi TV series
with continuing characters. The adventure show starred Richard Basehart and
David Hedison (below).

Actor Clayton Moore was best known for playing the fictional western character
The Lone Ranger from 1949–1951 and 1954-1957. Moore had a pay dispute
and left the series. As "Clay Moore," he made a few more westerns and serials, sometimes playing the villain. Moore was replaced for a time by actor John
Hart. The show’s producers eventually came to terms and rehired Moore.The
Lone Ranger was the highest-rated television program on ABC in the early
1950s.

Joey Heatherton is a actress, dancer, and singer. She began
her career as a child actress, appearing in 1959 as a member
of the ensemble and an understudy in the original Broadway
production of The Sound of Music. Joey received her first
national exposure that same year as a semi-regular on the
The Perry Como Show on NBC-TV from 1955 to 1959. She
also traveled with Bob Hope’s USO troupe between 1965
and 1977, entertaining the GIs with her singing, dancing
and of course, her provocative outfits.

Jacqueline Bisset is an English actress known for her roles in the films Bullitt (1968, Airport (1970), The Deep (1977), and the FX-TV series Nip/Tuck in 2006. She has
also appeared in several French film productions. Jacqueline has been nominated
for four Golden Globe Awards and an Emmy Award. She has also appeared in
several French productions.
