Catherine  "Cate" Blanchett is an Australian actress and theatre director. She has
won multiple acting awards, most notably two Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. Blanchett earned five Academy Awad nominations between 1998 and 2007. She is known for her portrayals of the elf queen Galadriel in Peter Jackson’s The lord of the Rings trilogy (2001,2002,2003), Colonel-Doctor Irina Spalko in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), and as Katharine Hepburn in Martin Scorsese’s
The Aviator (2004), a role which brought her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

screen legends such as Cary Grant (Bringing Up Baby-1938), Humphrey
Bogart (African Queen-1951), John Wayne (Rooster Cogburn-1975), and
Henry Fonda (On Golden Pond-1981). Her most remembered pairing was 
with Spencer Tracy, with whom she made many films, including 1942’s
Woman of the Year

Fred Astaire was a film and Broadway stage dancer, choreographer, singer
and actor. His career spanned a total of 76 years. He made 31 musical films,
ten with Ginger Rogers. He was named the fifth Greatest Male Star of All Time
by the American Film Institute.
