Wilson Pickett (March 18, 1941 – January 19, 2006)
This song was composed by Pickett and Steve Cropper at the historic Lorraine
Motel in Memphis where Martin Luther King, Jr. would later be murdered in April
1968. Pickett’s first hit on Atlantic Records, it reached #1 on the R&B charts and
peaked at #21 on the pop charts.

Huey Lewis (Born Hugh Anthony Cregg III in New York City)
Lewis is a singer and harmonica player with his group The News. The
band is perhaps best known for their third album, Sports, and their
contribution to the soundtrack of the 1985 feature film Back to the
Future. Lewis previously played with the band Clover from 1972 to
1979. He learned how to play the harmonica while hitchhiking across
the country.
