Fred McFeely Rogers (March 20, 1928 – February 27, 2003)


Fred Rogers was an author, producer, and
Presbyterian minister
who was the creator, producer and host of all 895 episodes the
preschool television series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood
. He
also composed more than 200 songs and was the puppeteer of 14
characters. Rogers died of stomach cancer at age 74.

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood is a half-hour educational children’s television series that was created and hosted by Fred Rogers. The
series Misterogers debuted in Canada on October 15, 1962, on
CBC Television. In 1966,

Rogers moved back to the U.S. creating Misterogers’ Neighborhood
on the regional Eastern Educational Television Network a forerunner
of today’s
American Public Television. The US national debut of the
show occurred on February 19, 1968. It aired on
NET and PBS until
August 31, 2001

ADOLF HITLER WENT UNDERGROUND IN 1945

German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler took to his underground
bunker, where he remains for 105 days until he
died by
suicide
.

The model also shows the sofa where his lifeless body was found alongside his mistress Eva Braun in April 1945  
Replica of Hitler’s bunker office in Berlin. 

However, the museum has come under fire for the project, with some saying the model is in bad taste given its location to the original bunker
The scale model of part of the bunker shows where Hitler
spent his final days at the end of the Second World War.

Hattie Ophelia Wyatt Caraway
(February 1, 1878 – December 21, 1950)

Caraway became the first woman elected to serve a full term as
a
United States Senator. Caraway represented Arkansas. She was
the first woman to preside over the Senate. She won re- election to a
full term in 1932 with the active support of fellow Senator  Huey Long
of neighboring Louisiana, She was the first woman to win an election
for the United States Senate.
