James Edward "Jim Ed" Brown (April 1, 1934 – June 11, 2015)

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) – Jim Ed Brown, a longtime Grand Ole Opry member
who had solo and group hits and was a prominent figure on country music
television shows, died Thursday.

Brown died of cancer at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee,
according to a news release from Webster Public Relations. He is to be
inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year.

In the mid-1950s, Brown and his two sisters, Bonnie and Maxie, formed the
trio known as The Browns, and had the No. 1 hit "The Three Bells" on both
the pop and country charts in 1959.

(AP) – Bedrock City, a Stone Age theme park inspired by the animated TV show "Flintstones," is on the market for just $2 million and has everything a modern
cave dweller could ask for.

In addition to several fake rock-style huts, future owners will inherit a camp
ground, volcano train, a themed diner, brontosaurus slide and convenience
store with statues of cartoon characters nestled around the property.

Located in Williams, Arizona, Bedrock City is just a 30-minute drive from one
of America’s most famous rocky formations—the Grand Canyon.

Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (May 27, 1922 – June 7, 2015)

Lee died in a London hospital on Sunday morning June 7 after being admitted
for respiratory problems and heart failure. His wife delayed the announcement
until today in order to break the news to their family. The screen legend was
famous for his roles in numerous horror films, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

Mary Ellen Trainor  (July 8, 1952 – May 20, 2015)

Trainor is best remembered as either Dr. Stephanie Woods
(a LAPD psychiatrist) in Lethal Weapon (1987) (and all three
sequels) or as Irene Walsh (Mikey and Brand’s mom) in The
Goonies (1985). The actress died at her home in Montecito,
California from complications of pancreatic cancer.

"(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction" was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and produced by Andrew Loog Oldham. Richards’ three-note guitar riff was intended
to be replaced by horns. The song is considered by most critics to be one of the
all-time greatest rock songs ever recorded. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine
placed "Satisfaction" in the second spot on its list of "The 500 Greatest Songs
of All Time", while in 2006 it was added to the Library of Congress National
Recording Registry.
