BIG HIT WAS RELEASED ON THIS DAY IN 1964

YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVIN' FEELING ALBUM

"You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” by The Righteous Brothers became a number-
one hit single in 1965. Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI) ranked the song as having had
more radio and television air play in the U.S. than any other song during the 20th century. It was chosen as one of the Songs of the Century by RIAA and also ranked
#34 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

AGNES MOOREHEAD

Agnes Robertson Moorehead (December 6, 1900 – April 30, 1974)

Moorehead began acting with Orson Wells and the Mercury Theatre. She
later appeared in more than seventy films beginning in 1941 with Citizen
Kane and on dozens of television shows during a career that spanned
more than thirty years, Moorehead is most  known to viewing audiences
for her role as the Endora the witch in the ABC-TV series Bewitched
(1964-1972). She earned on Emmy Award and two Golden Globe
awards in addition to four Academy Award and sis Emmy Award
nominations. Award nominations.

WINK MARTINDALE IS 78 TODAY

Martindale’s rendition of the spoken-word song, "The Deck of Cards”
went to No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and sold over a million
copies in 1959.

Winston Conrad Martindale known professionally as Wink Martindale, started
his career as a disc jockey and later hosted numerous game shows, including
Gambit on CBS from 1972 to 1976, High Rollers on NBC from 1987 to 1988
and Tic-Tac-Dough from 1978 to 1985 on NBC.
