Stephen Valentine Patrick William "Steve" Allen

The Comedian, actor, composer. was the first host of "The Tonight Show”
from 1954 to 1957 on NBC-TV.

Bob Elliott (born 1923) and Ray Goulding (1922–1990) were a radio
comedy team whose career spanned five decades. During their last
years in radio, they were heard on National Public Radio until 1987.

Bob Elliott turned 89 in March. He is the father of
comedian/actor Chris Elliott.

                     
                        John William "Johnny" Carson
                  (October 23, 1925 – January 23, 2005)

Johnny Carson was host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson 
for thirty years on NBC (1962 – 1992). He was awarded six Emmy Awards,
and was inducted in the the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1987. 

Paul Frederic Simon is 71 today
