IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!
Though mentioned by Benjamin Franklin in 1784, the idea of daylight saving
time, advancing clocks forward one hour so that evenings have more daylight,
was first proposed in 1895 by George Vernon Hudson and was implemented
during World War ll.
George V. Hudson was an English-born New
Zealand entomologist and astronomer.
