FORMER CHILD ACTOR IS 68 TODAY

Gerald Patrick "Jerry" Mathers was born in Sioux City, Iowa.

Mathers is known for his classic role as a child on the CBS television
sitcom, Leave It To Beaver from 1957-1963. He made his first TV
commercial at age 2 for PET Milk and was a model for a department
store ad. Following his acting career, he became a successful banker
and real estate investor.

Mr. George Whipple (above) is a fictional supermarket manager
featured in television commercials and print advertisements that
ran in the United States and Canada from 1964 to 1985 for
Charmin toilet paper.

"Mr. Whipple" was played by Dick Wilson, a character actor who
made many appearances on TV sitcoms during the 1960s and
1970s. Between 1964 and 1985, Wilson appeared as Whipple
in more than 500 commercials for Charmin.

VOICE ACTOR HAS DIED AT 93


Arthur John Miles Anderson (August 29, 1922 – April 9, 2016)

Beginning in 1963, actor of radio,films, TV and stage, Arthur 
Anderson was the voice of the General Mills Lucky Charms
mascot “Lucky the Leprechaun
”, continuing the character for
29 years. Anderson died Saturday in Manhattan.

DAKOTA FANNING IS 22 TODAY


Hannah Dakota Fanning was born in Conyers, Georgia.

Dakota Fanning began her career in a national commercial for Tide
when she was five years old. At age seven, her performance in the
2001 film I Am Sam earned her a nomination for a Screen Actors
Guild Award
at age eight in 2002, making her the youngest nominee
in history. As a child actress, she went on to appear in high-profile
films such as Man on Fire (2004), War of the Worlds (2005) and
Charlotte’s Web (2006).

Larry developed his trademark Southern accent after listening to
his college roommates.A debut comedy album, Law and Disorder,
was released in 1995. His father, a Christian minister and a guitarist,
raised him on a pig farm. The former radio personality, despite his
stage name, has never worked for a cable company.
