Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Trigger
Roy Rogers (Leonard Franklin Slye) (November 5, 1911 – July 6, 1998)
Rogers was one of the most popular Western stars of his era. Known as the
"King of the Cowboys", he appeared in over 100 films and numerous radio
and television episodes of The Roy Rogers Show.

KEN BERRY IS 81 TODAY
Sitcom actor, dancer and singer, Ken Berry has appeared in numerous
television shows, one with his friend and mentor, Andy Griffith. Berry
starred in the successful comedies F Troop (ABC-1965 to1967), The
Andy Griffith Show spin-off Mayberry R.F.D. (CBS- 1968 to 1971), and
The Carol Burnett Show spin-off Mama’s Family on CBS.
Before fame he won a local talent competition for his tap dancing abilities
at age 15 and received an offer to join a traveling performance ensemble.
