James Vernon Taylor was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

Folk singer James Taylor is known for hit songs like "You’ve Got a
Friend" and "Fire and Rain". He was inducted into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame in 2000.

Taylor suffered from depression starting his senior year of high
school and would spend twenty hours a day sleeping.

Alan Samuel Colmes (September 24, 1950 – February 23, 2017)

The liberal radio and TV commentator died at a Manhattan medical center this
morning after suffering from lymphoma. 

Colmes, who was born in New York City, was  a longtime radio host with WABC 
and WNBC, author, and even a stand up comedian.

Carol Channing is a Broadway veteran who is best known for her
roles in Hello, Dolly! and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She received
an Oscar nomination, a Golden Globe Award, and a total of three
Tony Awards. After attending high school in San Francisco, she
worked as a model in Los Angeles.
