Lee Marvin at first did supporting roles, mostly villains and soldiers ,but after winning
an Academy Award for Best Actor for his dual roles in Cat Ballou (1965), he landed
more heroic, leading roles. Marvin left school to join the U.S. Marine Corps, serving
as a Scout Sniper. He was wounded in action during the WW ll battle of Saipan and
was awarded the Purple Heart.

Welcome Back, Kotter (1975 – 1979) and starring in the box office successes Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Grease (1978). His career faced a resurgence in the 1990s with his role in Pulp Fiction (1994), and he has since continued starring in many Hollywood films.Travolta has twice been nominated for the Academy Award For Best Actor.The first, for his role in Saturday Night Fever and the second for Pulp Fiction. He won the Golden Globe Award For Best Actor-Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his 1995 performance in Get Shorty.

George Kennedy has appeared in over 200 film and television productions. He is best known as the convict Dragline in Cool Hand Luke (1967),for which he won an Academy Award, airline troubleshooter Joe Patroni in the Airport series of disaster movies from the 1970s and as Captain Ed Hocken in the Naked Gun series of comedy films with the late Leslie Nielsen (1988,1991, and 1994).

Hal Holbrook’s acting roles include Abraham Lincoln in the 1976 television series 
Lincoln, Hays Stowe on The Bold Ones:The Senator,NBC, and Capt.Lloyd Bucher  
on Pueblo. He is also known for his role in the 2007 film Into The Wild, for which  
he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and also for an Academy 
Award. He has also done a one man stage show as Mark Twain. He has also
appeared on The Event, a series airing on NBC. Hal is the oldest nominee in  
Academy Award history in the Best Supporting Actor category.

Laura Elizabeth Dern is an actress,film director and producer. She has acted in 
such films as Smooth Talk (1985), Blue Velvet (1986), Fat Man and Little Boy
(1988), and Jurassic Park (1993). She was nominated for an Academy Award for
Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the 1991 film Rambling
Rose. Laura is the daughter of actors Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd.
