John Voight received his first Academy Award nomination for his
performance in MIDNIGHT COWBOY,1969’s Best Picture winner.

Frank Sinatra’s appearance in this film was part of a
ten-minute short opposing anti-Semitism and racial
prejudice at the end of World War ll. It received an
honorary Academy Award and a special Golden
Globe Award in 1946.

          star in the history of American cinema.

Brad Pitt’s first big role in a major Hollywood film was
playing the cowboy hitchhiker in Ridley’s Scott’s 1991
road movie THELMA & LOUISE. It was one of the
highest-grossing films of that year and won six
Academy Award nominations, and received an
Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Brad’s first leading role was in Robert Redford’s 1992
film, shown above. It won the Academy Award for Best
Cinematography.
