Introducing-the-Beatles 
The Beatles album introducing…THE BEATLES was released in United States
by the Chicago based VEE-JAY label just ten days prior to the release of 
MEET THE BEATLES! by Capital Records. After much legality, VEE-JAY was
allowed to sell their album until late 1964.

RAWHIDE DEBUTED ON THIS DATE IN 1959

Rawhide was one of the longest running television westerns. It ran 
from 1959 to 1966 on CBS for a  total of 217 episodes. The series
starred Eric Fleming (seated) and newcomer Clint Eastwood,
(standing). The show was produced and often directed
by Charles M. Warren who also produced some early
episodes of Gunsmoke.

office from 1850 until 1853. He was the last member of the Whig
Party to hold the office of President. Fillmore died on March 8,
1874.
