PRESIDENT’S THIRD TIRM ON THIS DAY IN 1940

Franklin Delano Roosevelt won the 1940 election of November 5th with 55% of the popular vote and 38 of the 48 states. Henry A. Wallace ws named Vice President in
place of the conservative Texan John Nance Garner.
