Gilligan’s Island is a television situation comedy aired for three seasons
(98 episodes ) on the CBS network, from the season premier on Saturday
September 26, 1964, to September 4, 1967. The show was originally
sponsored by Philip Morris & Company and Proctor & Gamble. The first
season (36 episodes) was filmed in black and white. They were colorized
later for syndication.
