JULIE LONDON

             (September 26, 1926 – October 18, 2000)

Julie London was a singer and actress, whose acting career lasted more
than 35 years. It concluded with the female lead role of nurse Dixie McCall
on the NBC television series Emergency (1972-1979). The show co-starred
her real-life husband Bobby Troup, and was produced by her ex-husband
Jack Webb.

March 8, 1974, on ABC-TV. In a 2010 issue of TV Guide, the sitcoms opening

Gilligan’s Island
is a television situation comedy aired for three seasons
(98 episodes ) on the CBS network, from the season premier on Saturday
September 26, 1964, to September 4, 1967. The show was originally
sponsored by Philip Morris & Company and Proctor & Gamble. The first
season (36 episodes) was filmed in black and white. They were colorized
