Sir Reginald Carey "Rex" Harrison (5 March 1908 – 2 June 1990)
Rex Harrison was an English actor of stage and screen who an Academy Award
and two Tony Awards during his career. He made his stage debut in 1924 in the
production of Thirty Minutes in a Street. His film debut came in 1930 on The
Great Game. Harrison retired from films in the late 1970, but continued to
act on Broadway until his death from pancreatic cancer. He was knighted
by Queen Elizabeth ll in 1989.
mister rex harrison is one of my favourite actors. he was delightful in his best movie “blithe spirit” (1945), together with the lovely miss margaret rutherford. i will never and never forget him.
