                  (March 9, 1943 – January 17, 2008)

Fischer was a chess Grandmaster and the 11th World Chess
Champion. He is widely considered one of the greatest chess
players of all time. Fischer was also a best-selling chess author.

Mark Lindsay, former member of Paul Revere & the Raiders (1960-1975)
still tours as a solo artist and “continues to create new music”.

In March 1966, "Kicks" entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at position
number 62 and peaked at number four in May. It spent 14 weeks on
the chart. Within two months from its release, the record sold 500,000
copies.

RADIO SITCOM DEBUTED ON THIS DAY IN 1945

Those Websters was a situation comedy series that began on CBS radio
starring Willard Waterman (above) and Constance Crowder as George
and Jane Webster. The program was launched in New York on Friday,
March 9, 1945 and then moved to Chicago for a short time before
finishing its run on the Mutual Broadcasting System from Hollywood
on August 22, 1948. The sponsor of the show was Quaker Oats.
