LARRY HAGMAN HAS DIED AT 81

Larry Martin Hagman
(September 21, 1931 – November 23, 2012)

Hagman died at Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas from
complications of throat cancer. He was most known for playing J. R.
Ewing
in the primetime CBS television soap opera Dallas (1978-1991)
and for playing Major Anthony "Tony" Nelson in the CBS sitcom I Dream
of Jeannie
(1965-1970).

PRESIDENT BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1804

     Franklin Pierce (November 23, 1804 – October 8, 1869) 

Pierce was the 14th President of the United States (1853–1857). He 
was a Democrat and a "doughface", a Northerner who had Southern
sympathies. Pierce was known to have made many divisive decisions
which were widely criticized and earned him a reputation as one of the
worst presidents in U.S. history.
