TRADEMARK REGISTERED ON THIS DAY IN 1888
George Eastman registered the name "Kodak" and patented the first model of his
roll-film camera. The camera took round pictures with a fixed focus lens. It carried
a roll film for 100 exposures.

MITZI GAYNOR IS 82 TODAY
Mitzi Gaynor (Francesca Marlene de Czanyi von Gerber) is a
dancer, singer, and actress who was in the 1958 musical South
Pacific. She also sang with the LA Civic Light Opera at the age
of 13.
