SALLY FIELD IS 67 TODAY

Sally Field was ABC- TV’s Gidget (1965-1966). She won several Best
“Lincoln” (2012).
Sally was a High School cheerleader in Van Nuys, California before
starring as Gidget.

TALK SHOW DEBUTED ON THIS DAY IN 1967
In 1967, Phil Donahue left his positions as news reporter and interviewer at
WHIO radio and television in Dayton and became the host of a new television
program, Phil Donahue Show on WLWD (now WDTN), also in Dayton. His first
guest was atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair. His show was broadcast nationwide
between 1970 and 1996.
