The first NBC network broadcast of Kukla, Fran and Ollie, with the
Kuklapolitan Players aired from 6–6:30 p.m. Central Time, Monday
through Friday from Chicago. The original series ended in 1957.

Burr Tillstrum manipulates his puppets from behind a gauze-curtained
stage.

Noble Ray Price (January 12, 1926 – December 16, 2013)

Songs released by Ray Price include "Heartaches by the Number" (1959) 
and "Crazy Arms” (1956). In 1996 he was inducted into the Country Music
Hall of Fame.

Tex Ritter (Woodward Maurice Ritter)
(January 12, 1905 – January 2, 1974)

Tex Ritter, America’s singing cowboy, sang”Deck of Cards” (1948
and “High Noon”, the theme from the movie of the same name. He
is a Country Music Hall of Fame inductee and was the first artist
signed to Capitol Records.
