JIM NABORS IS 86 TODAY
James Thurston "Jim" Nabors was born in Alabama.
Jim Nabors is well known for his portrayal of Gomer Pyle on the
Andy Griffith Show on CBS (1960-1968) and the show’s spin-off
series Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. on CBS (1964-1969). His first job
in television was a film cutter for NBC.

COLLEGE HAS 50TH COMMENCEMENT

Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) in Gresham, Oregon has a student body
that mirrors the diverse group of people that make up the community. One of
those students who graduated today is this blogger’s granddaughter Mariah
