John Joseph "Hondo" Havlicek (April 8, 1940 – April 25, 2019)
(Fox News) – John Havlicek, a legendary Boston Celtics star behind one of the most famous plays in NBA history, died Thursday in Jupiter, Florida. The Hall of Famer’s cause of death was not immediately known but, he had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease during his last years.
Al Pacino had his breakthrough as mobster Michael Corleone in the Godfather trilogy and won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as Frank Slade in the 1992 film Scent of a Woman. He is also known for his starring roles in Dog Day Afternoon (1975), Heat(1995), Scarface(1983), and Serpico (1973).
