NASCAR DRIVER ANNOUNCED RETIREMENT

Prosecutors decline to charge Kurt Busch in alleged assault

NASCAR star Kurt Busch announced his retirement on
Saturday. He
stepped away from racing after he suffered
a concussion in a crash
at
Pocono in July 2022.

He announced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway he would
step away from full-time racing last fall.

Right" has died. He also hosted Truth or Consequences
from 1956 to 1975. He was 99.

First televised baseball games – Dutch Baseball Hangout

On August 26, 1939, the first televised Major League baseball
game was broadcast on station W2XBS, the station that was
to become WNBC-TV. Announcer Red Barber (below) called
the game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Brooklyn
Dodgers at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York.
