CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Cale Yarborough, considered one of NASCAR’s all-time greatest drivers and the first to win three
consecutive Cup titles, died Sunday at the McLeod Hospice
House in Florence, South Carolina . He was 84.
NASCAR announced the death of the Hall of Famer and South
Carolina native in a statement. No cause was given.

Shecky Greene, an entertainment legend whose very name
became synonymous with stand-up comedy, has died.
Greene died at 3:21 a.m. Sunday at his home in Las Vegas
of natural causes.
Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins is 86 years old today.
Hopkins has received numerous accolades, including two
Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, two Primetime
Emmy Awards, and a Laurence Olivier Award. He has also
received the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2005 and the BAFTA
Fellowship for lifetime achievement in 2008.

LONDON (AP) — Tom Wilkinson, the Oscar-nominated British
actor known for his roles in "The Full Monty," "Michael Clayton"
and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel," has died.
A statement shared by his agent on behalf of the family said
Wilkinson died suddenly at home on Saturday. It didn’t provide
further details.
Wilkinson was nominated for a best actor Academy Award for
his work in 2001’s family drama "In The Bedroom" in 2001 and
in the best supporting actor category for his role in "Michael
Clayton," a 2007 film that starred George Clooney.
