The Kraft Heinz Foods Company, formerly the H. J. Heinz
Company and commonly known as Heinz, is a food
processing company headquartered at One PPG Place
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company was founded
by Henry J. Heinz in 1869.

NEW YORK (AP — Linda Lavin, a Tony Award-winning stage
actress who became a working class icon as a paper-hat
wearing waitress on the CBS – TV sitcom "Alice," has died.

Her representative, Bill Veloric, said Lavin died in Los
Angeles on Sunday of complications from recently
discovered lung cancer.

Bo Diddley (Ellas Otha Bates)
(December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008)

Bo Diddley played a key role in the transition from
the blues to rock and roll. He influenced many artists,
including Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and the Beatles.      
 

His use of African rhythms and a signature beat, a
simple  five-accent hambone rhythm, is a cornerstone
of hip hop, rock, and pop music.
