Multi-instrumentalist and singer for The Police, Sting is known for such
hits as "Don’t Stand So Close to Me" and "Message in a Bottle." He also
became a successful solo artist, releasing his first album The Dream of
the Blue Turtles in 1985, followed by ten more albums within the next
two decades.

and Prevention reported that five men in Los Angeles were
suffering from a rare pneumonia found in patients with
weakened immune systems. They were the first recognized

Ryan White was a teenager from Kokomo, Indiana, who became a

poster child for HIV/AIDS in the United States after failing
to be re-admitted to school following an AIDS diagnosis. As a
hemophiliac, he became infected with HIV from a contaminated
blood treatment.
