On April 20, 2008, 26-year-old Danica Patrick wins the Indy
Japan 300 at Twin Ring Motegi in Motegi, Japan, making
her the first female winner in IndyCar racing history.

Danica Patrick was born on March 25, 1982, in Beloit,
Wisconsin. She became involved in racing as a young
girl and as a teenager moved to England in pursuit of
better training opportunities.

In 2005, Patrick started competing in IndyCar events, which
include the famed Indianapolis 500 race at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway in Indiana.

On April 20, 1999, two teenage gunmen killed 13 people in a
shooting spree at Columbine High School in Littleton,
Colorado, south of Denver.

By 11:35 a.m., Klebold and Harris had killed 12 fellow students
and a teacher and wounded another 23 people. Shortly after
noon, the two teens turned their guns on themselves and died
by suicide.

The crime prompted a national debate on gun control and
school safety, as well as a major investigation to determine
what motivated the teen gunmen.    
  

In the days immediately following the shootings, it was
speculated that Klebold and Harris purposely chose jocks,
minorities and Christians as their victims.

(FOX NEWS) – Archaeologists recently unveiled a series of
strange, centuries-old inscriptions at the site believed to
be the location of the Last Supper – just in time for Easter.

The Room of the Last Supper, also known as the Cenacle,
is located on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. The hall was built
by the Crusaders in the 12th century, though pilgrims have
venerated the site as early as the 4th century.

The recent discovery was announced by the Austrian
Academy of Science (OeAW) on April 16, with the help
of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).

Archaeologists identified some 40 elements of graffiti,
including five coats of arms.        
        
        
       

Just after 9 a.m. on April 19, 1995, a massive truck bomb
exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Emergency crews raced to Oklahoma City from across the
country, and when the rescue effort finally ended two weeks
later the death toll stood at 168 people killed, including 19
young children who were in the building’s day-care center
at the time of the blast.
