Emmitt James Smith III

Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith retired with an NFL record 18,355
rushing yards. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls, led the NFL in rushing four
seasons, and won three Super Bowl Championships. After retirement, he won
the third season of Dancing with the Stars with Cheryl Burke. He rushed for
over 100 yards in 45 of the 49 games that he started in for his high school
football team. Emmitt Smith spent his last two NFL seasons with the Arizona
Cardinals and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.

Willie Howard Mays, Jr. was born in Westfield, Alabama.

Willie Mays is a Hall of Fame outfielder and 24-time All-Star known as the "Say
Hey Kid." He hit 660 home runs for the New York and San Francisco Giants
and the New York Mets and was a 2-time National League MVP as well as a
World Series Champion with the Giants in 1954.

Barbra Streisand is among a small group of entertainers
who have been honored with an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar,
and Tony Award, and is one of only two artists who have
also won a Peabody. Streisand is one of the best-selling
music artists of all time, with more than 68.5 million albums
in the U.S.and a total of 145 million records sold worldwide.

The Doolittle Raid, also known as the Tokyo Raid, on Saturday, April 18, 1942,
was an air raid by the United States on the Japanese capital Tokyo and other
locations on the island of Honshu during World War II, the first air strike to strike
the Japanese Home Islands. It demonstrated that Japan itself was vulnerable to
American air attack, served as retaliation for the Japanese attack on Pearl
Harbor on Sunday, December 7, 1941, and provided an important boost to
American morale. The raid was planned and led by Lieutenant Colonel James
"Jimmy" Doolittle (below) of the United States Army Air Forces.

On May 19, 1942, President Roosevelt bestows Congressional
Medal of Honor on Brigadier General James Doolittle for the
successful raid on Tokyo.
