Madonna Louise Ciccone is 58 years young today.

Madonna grew up in an Italian-American household and was a straight A
student, as well as a cheerleader, in high school. After earning a degree
from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, she
moved to New York City to pursue dance. She received a Golden Globe
Award for Best Actress for her role as Eva Peron in the 1997 film Evita.

Harold Peter Henry "Pee Wee" Reese
(July 23, 1918 – August 14, 1999)

Baseball player “Pee Wee” Reese was a 10-time MLB All-Star shortstop for the
Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1940 to 1958. He helped lead the team
to a World Series Championship in 1955. Reese got his nickname, "Pee Wee,"
by being a champion marbles player. After retiring in 1958, he became manager
of the the Dodgers’ and led the team to another World Series Championship
in 1959.
