Berle was an actor and comedian. His career 
spanned over eight decades, first in silent
films and on stage as a child actor, then in
radio, movies and television. 
 

As the host of NBC‘s Texaco Star Theatre
(1948–1953), he was the first major television
star and was known to millions of viewers as
"Uncle Miltie" and "Mr. Television" during the
first Golden Age of Television.

He was honored with two stars on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame for his work in both radio and TV.

Diana Ross was the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes,
who became Motown‘s most successful act during the 1960s and
one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.

They remain the best-charting female group in history, with a

Canadian born actor William Shatner is 94 years old today. His
career spans seven decades and is best known for his portrayal
of James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise, from his 1966 debut
as the captain of the starship Enterprise in the second pilot of
the first Star Trek television series to his final appearance as
Captain Kirk in the seventh Star Trek feature film, Star Trek
Generations (1994).
